Our environmental approach is based on simple, common-sense practices adapted to our environment. We prioritize sobriety, biodiversity, and short supply chains, while involving our guests.

Ecological management of green spaces

  • 🌱 No use of phytosanitary products: natural methods for maintenance, or no treatment. Nature finds its balance when species are adapted to their environment.
  • Lime-based treatments: when necessary, application of traditional solutions such as “whitewash”.
  • 🌿 Nettle slurry biostimulation: natural strengthening of plants and soil.
  • 🍂 Mulching, dry hedges, grass cycling: reducing watering, protecting the soil, and returning organic matter.
  • 🦋 Maintaining fallow areas: some areas are deliberately left unmown to serve as refuges for biodiversity. In general, we mow as little as possible.
  • 🍏 Fruit tree planting: promoting local varieties and providing food for birds and insects.
  • 🥕 Permaculture vegetable garden: soil-friendly cultivation, productive and chemical-free.
  • 🐦🪲 Installation of tit boxes and insect hotels: tit boxes based on the model from La Hulotte magazine.
  • 🍯 Beehives installation: amateur beekeeping on site to promote pollination.
  • 🐔 Chickens for organic waste recycling: reduction of biowaste and fresh eggs as a bonus.

Energy & water

  • 💡 LED lighting: all our lighting is equipped with LEDs to reduce consumption.
  • 🚿 Flow reducers: devices installed on taps and showers to save water without losing comfort.

Waste & soil

  • ♻️ Selective sorting and composting: clearly identified sorting points and composting of organic matter.

Awareness & territory

  • 🌼 Guest awareness: information on local fauna and flora available, tips for observing without disturbing.
  • 🧺 Priority to local suppliers: we favor local businesses to limit the carbon footprint of transport.

These actions evolve with the seasons and our observations. Your feedback is welcome to help us go further 🌍.
